Welcome to BrandArmy and our first blog post! The goal of this post is to help you learn more about BrandArmy and how we’re trying to help creators enter and adopt this exciting new age of fan-monetization. Our platform provides interested creators a new revenue channel they are in full control of with their audience they’ve developed over months or years on social media.

We believe anyone with a well-engaged social media audience should be able to monetize their audience easily and quickly. And that’s what we allow creators and influencers to do – make money within minutes of creating and promoting their BrandArmy channel to their social media accounts.

These blogs will include over time a variety of content. We’ll post creator interviews, media drops BrandArmy or BrandArmy creator’s are in, fan-monetization tips for creators, creators economy news/stats, as well as company and platform updates on this blog.

What is a creator?

We’ll use the word ‘creator’ a lot throughout the BrandArmy experience so defining it is important.

A creator is anyone with a social media presence and following. We specifically want to work with creators who really love their social media audience and enjoy good to excellent engagement.

That’s it. Simple. So you might be thinking, well that means everyone on social media is a creator. That’s right. We look at anyone creating content on social media platforms that has any size of audience, even the smallest, as a creator.

So which creators are a good fit for BrandArmy now?

Our focus is to identify and work with well-engaged creators with medium to massive sized social media followings. Creators of all types are welcome to join BrandArmy to launch their superfan community. 10,000 followers is the minimum social media following to have a BrandArmy channel. The only way a creator can come in below that 10k minimum is if that creator was referred by a creator who is already on BrandArmy.

What is BrandArmy?

We’re an online web application where approved creators have a subscription-based channel where they’ll share and monetize content with their subscribers. Creators open and launch a BrandArmy channel for engagement, monetization, and community with their best and most loyal social media followers. Their subscribers found out about a creator’s BrandArmy channel from the creator’s social media promotion or through their link-in-bio where they’ll list the URL of their BrandArmy.

Creators invite their social media following to subscribe and be part of their superfan community on BrandArmy. For their subscription, users receive content and the best access to their favorite creator.

Beta

We have been in ‘beta’ with real creators, subscribers, transactions, and revenue since March 12, 2021. We’ve learned a lot while in beta and look to publicly launch in Q1 of 2024. We’ve stayed close to creators learning the good, the bad, and the ugly. The vast majority of our platform iterations and improvements have come from us listening to creators’ feedback and input on how we can make the platform better for them and their subscribers.
