The BrandArmy product is a fully-responsive web app accessible via mobile phones, desktop, laptops, or connected devices with a web browser. Creators can share and post content to their channel and can livestream. Why was BrandArmy created? To give creators creating a turnkey platform where everything they’d need to launch, invite, engage, interact, and monetize a superfan community was all in one place. How does BrandArmy compare to Patreon or OnlyFans? Patreon only offers creators one way, subscriptions, to make money, which is a big limitation. Our 8+ ways to earn on BrandArmy gives creators unlimited income potential. We are the only platform as powerful and robust as OnlyFans when it comes to monetization and engagement. BrandArmy prohibits sex and nudity while OnlyFans allows sex and nudity. We do not have content or subscription pricing limitations like OnlyFans. We have creators charging up to $999 a month to subscribe to their channel which is not possible to charge on OnlyFans. We have creators charging up $1,500 for lunch meet-and-greets which isn’t possible to do on Patreon or OnlyFans but it is on BrandArmy! We love and support all creator economy companies. Creators: 13 or older Subscribers: 18 or older Who owns the fan data and posted content? Creators own the fan data and content/IP for their BrandArmy channel. Creators please reach out to general@brandarmy.com with your channel name and your data request. Data requests can be for your sub’s email addresses, phone numbers, and names. We will email you your request within 48 hours. Eventually the data will be accessible directly via your dashboard but for now please reach out to the email address above. What is the platform fee for creators? We offer two types of accounts, Managed and Self-Managed… Self-Managed Channel: For creators of any size with the time or team to fully manage their BrandArmy channel to drive community and engagement. 85% Creator* | 15% BrandArmy *Payment processing passed-through Managed Channel (by Invite Only): Our Creator Partner Program. Where the creator focuses on what they do best – create content – our team handles the rest. Best for creators who are so busy they require a team for channel management, community, and engagement and to get the best ROI on time and content. 65% Creator* | 35% BrandArmy *Payment processing passed-through What is the payment-processing passed-through? Payment processing is an integral part of the BrandArmy experience. Creators with a BrandArmy channel are able to accept credit cards for payment on content sales, subscriptions, and livestreaming. Since we are not the payment processing company we pass the payment processor fee for each transaction through to each respective creator. Every transaction on a creator’s channel is accounted for with a breakdown of the specific payment processing fee for that transaction fee which is shown in > Transactions > Earnings. In the same area there’s an ‘Export to CSV’ which provides a full and granular breakdown of all transactions. Please note that our system reconciles and settles transactions nightly with our payment processors so individual transaction payment processing fees are not reflected till the next day after the transaction. Please consult with your trusted tax consultant to see if the payment processing fees are tax deductible or if there’s a tax benefit you can take advantage of. How does BrandArmy payout creators? We use a 3rd-party service to facilitate payouts both domestically and internationally. Via the BrandArmy dashboard you will enter the appropriate info to get setup for payouts. Go to > Transactions > Bank Account to go through the process of connecting your bank account. Please enter the appropriate company information when prompted. We know many creators have entities/companies as the preferred payout and you can connect a business account for payouts. How can creators make money with a BrandArmy channel? Creators have 8+ ways to earn! Files types you can share/post are: .pdf, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .mp3, .mp4 Can I livestream on BrandArmy? Yes! Creators can go live on their desktop or mobile device via their internet browser. We offer HD quality livestreaming that streams in real-time with no latency. Please note: A strong internet connection is best for the best livestream experience. Creators should NOT move from, as an example, from their home Wifi to their car where their connection will be moved to a cell phone tower. The best live experience is from a dedicated and connected high-speed internet connection. When a creator goes live there’s a variety of features and actions that they and their viewers/subs can participate in, which include: Creator + subs can comment Creator + subs can ‘heart’ (like) in the comments area Creator + subs can comment emojis Subs can tip Creator can pause livestream Creator can restart livestream Creator can mute audio Creator can use front or back camera if going live on mobile phone To flip camera creator pushes the ‘flip icon’ Creator can see which subs are in their livestream Creator gets a livestream stats overview after livestream ends which includes: List of all attendees Total $ made from tips Total # of likes Option to save livestream recording to creator feed Sub comments during live will appear under live recording on feed as well as ‘likes’ from the livestream Viewers new to seeing the recorded live can also comment, ‘like’, and tip. Option to delete livestream recording for FOMO vibes When did BrandArmy start? Our birthday is March 12th, 2021. This is when we started ‘beta-testing’ our application with real creators and real fans transacting. We’re looking to publicly launch in 2023 late Q2 or early Q3. What is a ‘superfan’? A fan of a creator who: Wants to directly financially support their fav creator. Wants authentic connections/engagement and wants to be heard/seen. Wants closest access/proximity to their fav creator. Wants to be around other like-minded superfans. Can creators share or sell nude content or have sex on their BrandArmy channel? No…full stop. I know that might seem like a strange FAQ but it is very necessary that we are clear that we are not in the business of allowing that type of content on BrandArmy. Nudity and sex will always be strictly prohibited with no exceptions. We do allow for implied nudity for creators 18 or older. How much could I make? We’ve had creators make $100k in just their first five days of launching their BrandArmy. With robust monetization options and features, creators have unlimited income potential. Creators make money based on how many of their social media audience they invite and ultimately subscribe to their BrandArmy channel for subscription and monetization. Creators are in full control of pricing for their subscriptions and digital content they sell. What’s the maximum amount I can charge for a subscription tier? There’s no limit for what you can charge for a subscription tier. What’s the maximum amount I can charge? As a mainstream platform we do not have hard ceilings on amounts a creator can charge for an individual subscription or a media sale. How often can I withdraw my earnings? 7 days after a transaction date, those earnings are available for withdrawal. How long after I withdraw will funds hit my bank account? 3-5 business days depending on where you bank around the world and your country’s banking system. We utilize a 3rd party service that facilitates payouts. Will BrandArmy provide me with a 1099 at the end of the year? As an internet platform we’re required to provide a 1099 to creators earning $20,000 or more in a year. These creators will provide to BrandArmy a signed W-9. How do I get a verified checkmark for my BrandArmy channel? Creators with a following minimum of 100k across their socials. Having 100k across the socials is not a guarantee a creator will get a verified checkmark. Does BrandArmy have a referral program if I want to refer a creator friend? We do! Referral fee: 3% Max Payout: $50k per referred creator Period: 1st year That is 20% of our 15% platform fee or 3%, and that’s for 1 year. No limit to the number of creator referrals you can make. We love referrals! Where do I find my referral code so I can refer my creator friend to BrandArmy? Under ‘Settings > Edit Profile > Referral Code’ you will see a referral code that is unique to you. Share your referral code with creators you want to refer. Ask them to enter that referral code when they apply for a BrandArmy channel. You can even get a direct link (below the referral code field) with your referral code embedded that you can share as well with your referrals. That’s all you have to do! Where do I find and track my referral earnings? You’ll see reports in your Referral Earnings section showing how much you’ve earned monthly from each creator you’ve referred and what your referral earnings have been in aggregate per creator you’ve referred.
